Pet Policies

We are very happy to welcome your pet at Casa Tucanes Villas & Bungalows. In order to guarantee the comfort of all our guests, we ask you to follow the regulations and policies detailed below:

The guest must sign in accordance with these regulations:

GENERAL DISPOSITION:

1. A security deposit of $1,800 pesos in cash per pet is requested, this as a guarantee of the good use and care of the facilities, furniture and linens. The deposit will be returned upon departure during check-out.

2. At the moment, only pets such as mini, small or medium-sized dogs and cats are accepted.

3. Guests agree to indemnify the host for damages caused by the pet.

USE OF ROOMS, BUNGALOWS OR VILLAS:

1. Guests may accommodate their pets in their room, bungalow or villa, as appropriate, with a maximum of one or two mini or small breed pets (weighing less than 20 kilograms).

2. It is forbidden for pets to sleep on the furniture of the room, villa or bungalow. All pets must sleep in a special pet bed.

3. If the pet is a cat, it must bring its scratching post and a sandbox with sand and a scoop for cleaning.

4. It is the guest's full responsibility to clean up after their pets. If any pet waste is found, a penalty of $300.00 MXN will be charged for cleaning that area.

5. The pet cannot be left alone in the room, bungalow or villa. It will always remain under the surveillance of its owner.

6. It is forbidden to clean the pet in the room or use towels to dry the pet or clean the pet's waste with any hotel asset. In case of finding any white from the hotel, stained by any pet waste, a penalty of $500.00 MXN will be charged. NOT NEGOCIABLE.

USE OF SHARED AREAS: POOL, GARDENS AND GRILL

1. The pet must always travel on its leash and under the care of its owner.

2. The terrace, green areas, pool and corridors must remain free of all types of pet food, utensils and accessories.

3. When leaving the garden area, the pet must always be under the care of its owner and must not be left in this area without supervision.

When reserving and staying at Casa Tucanes, the owner of the pet must agree with the Pet Lodging Policies in order to be responsible for any damage or harm caused by their pet, and will absolve Casa Tucanes employees of any liability. if the pet is injured or injures another guest.
